You have a schedule. You have things to do, places to go, people to see. You live by this schedule, and it runs your life; be it school, or work. Even being on vacation: you plan where to go, where to eat, what land marks you want to visit. Eventually it becomes all you know, all you'll do, for a very long time. Small things go unnoticed because they are too insignificant for your schedule. They are not the norm, they are not what you do.
Read this picture, and take the question at the end to heart: How much of life have you missed?
I've seen this story elsewhere before, but I read the whole thing again because it's so worth it. I like to think I pay attention to things around me, but I know I'm guilty of going too fast sometimes as well. Reminders are a good thing. :)
